Obituary – Mr. Chan, Pik Kiu Michael

It is with our greatest sadness to inform the passing of Mr. Chan, Pik Kiu Michael on 25 December 2022.  Mr. Chan was a retired magistrate, and has actively participated in Hong Kong Student Aid Society since 1970s in numerous capacities, including the Chairperson of the Executive Committee in 2014-2016 and 2019-2020, Member of various Management Subcommittees, Supervisor of Hong Kong Student Aid Society Primary School, and Sponsoring Body Manager of Tung Wan Mok Law Shui Wah School and Po Tat Nursery School.

The well-being of children and youth has been dear to Mr. Chan, and he has provided guidance to the continuous development of Society for half a century.  We’d like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Chan’s invaluable contribution to the Society and our deepest condolences to his family.  Michael will be sorely missed by the members of the Society, and we will continue his vision of supporting the needy children.
