Brief Introduction

The first hostel of the Hong Kong Student Aid Society, Mark Memorial Home (now known as Hong Kong Student Aid Society Jockey Club Mark Memorial Home) was founded in 1960 at Rennie's Mill. As a result of the redevelopment of the area, the Home was relocated to its present site at King Lam Estate, Tseung Kwan O.

The Home has a capacity for 64 children of both sexes. Apart from providing the children with basic care, the Home is also steering them in making positive growth in terms of personality, emotional, behavioural and academic developments. In other words, the Home aims at enhancing the self-care ability of the children, and to prepare them to rejoin normal family life as soon as possible.
