31MarOpening Horizons Youth Global Learning Fund 2026

Every young person deserves the chance to see beyond their current environment — to explore the world, discover their potential, and imagine a future that is bigger than their circumstances.

For many youth under the care of Hong Kong Student Aid Society (HKSAS), this opportunity is not easily within reach. Limited exposure and life constraints often mean that travelling abroad, experiencing a different culture, or studying in an international environment remains out of reach.

The Opening Horizons Youth Global Learning Fund 2026 is created to change that. This campaign is dedicated to raising funds to support underprivileged youth in participating in an overseas learning experience, covering essential costs such as programme fees, travel, accommodation, and daily living expenses.

We believe that even in residential care, every child’s voice and wish deserves to be heard and respected. Last year, residents wrote down their Christmas wishes, which were shared with donors who personally made them come true. The joy and bright smiles when the gifts were received remain unforgettable.

  Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2024

  24 residents and staff members of the Hong Kong Student Aid Society participated in the first Marathon Charity Programme organised by the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon. Our sincere gratitude to the donors and friends for their generous donation and unwavering support. Thanks to their contributions, we successfully met the fundraising target. We eagerly look forward to participating in the event again next year.
