Kam Lung gave encouragement to the youth

Ng Kam Lung is our alumni of Mark Memorial Home and Holland Hostel. He returned to Holland Hostel earlier to share his growth experience with the youth residents. He encouraged them to explore their personal interests, set goals and have self-confidence, and strive to unleash potentials to live a brilliant life.

Working on the proposed development of HKSAS service building

We originally participated in the “Special Scheme on Privately Owned Site for Welfare Uses” (“Special Scheme”) of Social Welfare Department in 2013 to apply for redevelopment of the Holland Hostel at 485 Kwun Tong Road to provide more welfare facilities. After years of discussion with the Social Welfare Department, the government will help us to build an integrated social service building. We conducted a “technical feasibility study” in August 2019. Related work is in good progress. We will cooperate with the Social Welfare Department to carry out local consultations, and complete the discussions and related procedures as soon as possible, so as to further develop the diversified services and respond to the society’s needs for services.
