Hong Kong Student Aid Society was founded in 1957 with the mission to provide needy children and youth with foster care, residential, education and community development services. We have over 5,000 registered users served by more than 250 employees. We operate 3 residential hostels, 7 small group homes and 3 schools. We receive lump sum grants from the Social Welfare Department and funds from other government departments, private donors and other sources. Our annual expenditure is about HK$217 million.

We invite people with the heart and passion to serve for the benefit of children and youth to join us in the capacity of Assistant Human Resources & Administration Officer (HO/AHRO/2024079)

 

The successful candidate will report to the Human Resources & Administration Manager and be responsible for the following areas: -

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment process from screening candidates to staff on-boarding procedures
  • Perform C&B functions including payroll administration, employee compensation, leave management
  • Handle payroll revamp project and relevant HR reports
  • Maintain and update staff records in the HRMS system
  • Assist in yearly HR projects such as performance management, salary review, contract renewal
  • Work with internal and external parties for daily HR operations and Staff training arrangement
  • Support the department in reviewing and implementing the HR policies and ensure the procedures are aligned with the employee handbook
  • Assist in participating in ad-hoc projects as required

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma holder or above in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Well-versed with HK Employment Ordinance and other related legislation
  • Proficient in PC applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, (e.g., V-look up & Pivot Table etc.), Chinese word processing
  • Experience in using Flex system is an advantage
  • A good team player, responsible and detail-minded with good numerical sense
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Immediate available is highly preferred

Contract Duration: 4 months
