Hong Kong Student Aid Society was founded in 1957 with the mission to provide needy children and youth with foster care, residential, education and community development services. We have over 5,000 registered users served by more than 300 employees. We operate 3 residential hostels, 7 small group homes and 3 schools. We receive lump sum grants from the Social Welfare Department and funds from other government departments, private donors and other sources. Our annual expenditure is about HK$197 million.
We invite people with the heart and passion to serve for the benefit of children and youth to join us in the capacity of Human Resources & Administration Officer.
This role is responsible for both Human Resources and Administration works but is not limited to the following areas:
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions including but not limited to compensation & benefits, employment administration, recruitment activities, performance management, payroll, MPF administration, employee relations, staff training, etc.
- Coordinate employment offer and new employee onboarding communication and documentation.
- Support annual exercises such as yearly salary reviews, performance management processes, and contract renewals.
- Handle general inquiries and liaise with internal and external parties on staff issues.
- Manage and maintain accurate staff information and records in the HRIS.
- Maintain proper updates on HR data and filing system.
- Prepare various analysis reports for management use.
- Handle HR & Administration related projects and ad hoc tasks.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Human Resources / Business Administration or relevant disciplines.
- At least 3 years of HR and Administration experience; NGO experience is preferred.
- Well-versed in HK Employment Ordinance & MPF Schemes and other employment-related legislations.
- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office applications (experience in using FlexSystem is an advantage).
- Good command of both spoken and written Chinese & English.
- Independent, hardworking, well-organized, and good interpersonal skills.
- Immediate available is preferred.
