Hong Kong Students Aid Society Primary School: School exhibition introduced curriculum features and education development
The Hong Kong Students Aid Society Primary School (renamed as Christian Pui Yan Primary School) held a school exhibition at One Sky Mall in Tin Shui Wai on 9 July 2022. The exhibition introduced the school's curriculum features, the development of English and STEM education to parents. It also displayed students’ artwork and provided handicraft workshops for children.

Selfless commitment to foster care services
The Social Welfare Department (SWD) regularly holds the Foster Families Service Award Presentation Ceremony to commend foster families for their selfless commitment to foster care services. Ten foster families from the HKSAS received awards from the SWD this year.

The new look of our Small Group Homes! Two Homes have completed the environment improvement projects
The bedrooms, living, and dining rooms are now spacious and comfortable. The study area has individual desks and bookcases. Through the renovated accommodation facilities, children can grow healthy in a better living environment.

Our participants won the prizes of “Financial Education Workshop: Saving Challenge”
From May to June 2021, our service unit "Family Energy" held 3 sessions of “Financial Education Workshop” for parents it served. The workshop was jointly launched by the Hong Kong Association of Banks and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service.

Lightsaber helps children develop athletic potential
The Small Group Home invited Union Fencing Club to provide lightsaber experience for the residents. The playful and lightweight lightsaber is safer for residents, and is good training for hand-eye coordination. Under guidance of the instructor, residents could master basic lightsaber skill quickly, enabling this experience to lay the foundation for the residents’ sporting development.

Island Hostel provided support and training for parents
Island Hostel held a workshop on "Children’s Training Tips" for the parents of the residents on November 26. The workshop provided skills to train children with special education needs at home, and to understand the difficulties and limitations that children face in learning. The programmes included training of hand-eye coordination and sense of space, as well as improving children’s communications skills through Lego activities. This workshop could promote the cooperation between the Hostel and parents, and help parents teaching their children effectively.
